History

TeamStaff, Inc., a New Jersey corporation, was founded in 1969 as a payroll service company and has evolved into a first class provider of temporary and permanent medical staffing and administrative/logistics services. TeamStaff's corporate headquarters are in Somerset, NJ. TeamStaff has offices located in Clearwater, Florida, Memphis, Tennessee, and Monroe, Georgia. 

In 1984, TeamStaff began trading on NASDAQ under the symbol TSTF. On July 13, 2001, TeamStaff began trading on the NASDAQ National Market.

The Company's TeamStaff Rx subsidiary operates throughout the United States and specializes in providing allied medical employees and nurses, especially "travel" staff (typically on a thirteen-week assignment basis). Allied medical staff includes MRI technicians, sonographers, dosimetrists, ultrasound staff and physicists. TeamStaff Rx places temporary employees for over 250 clients. TeamStaff Rx's nursing division provides travel nursing, temporary-to-permanent nursing and permanent nursing placement services.  A sampling of the nursing personnel placed include ER, ICU, L&D, Cath Lab, Critical Care, and Medical Surgical.  The Company's TeamStaff GS subsidiary specializes in providing medical and office administration/technical professionals through nationwide Schedule contracts with both the General Services Administration and Veterans Affairs. TeamStaff GS places temporary employees at over 75 facilities. 

TeamStaff Rx's services allow physicians' offices and diagnostic and medical facilities to manage their staffing needs during vacations, peak census times and unexpected personnel changes. As a pioneer with more than 25 years of experience in providing traveling medical imaging personnel, TeamStaff Rx continues to set the standard within the allied healthcare and medical staffing industries.

ACQUISITIONS

In today's competitive staffing environment it is crucial to ensure your services are diversified.  TeamStaff Rx acquired Nursing Innovations, a travel and per diem nurse staffing firm, in November 2004.  Nursing Innovations provided a strong foot print in the traveling nurse segment.  TeamStaff Rx customers appreciate the one-stop-shop provided by having an Allied Health division and Nursing division.

TeamStaff Government Solutions, formerly known as RS Staffing Services, Inc., specializing in placing medical, administrative, and logistic employees on a government contract basis, was acquired in June 2005.  Having the unique ability to provide contracting services to the United States Government allows for further diversification of TeamStaff's portfolio of services provided to its valued clients.  For over a decade TeamStaff GS has been fulfilling the staffing needs as outlined in its GSA (General Services Administration) and VA (Veteran's Affairs) contracts.
